Hikers are at the right place at Grafschaft Bentheim. At the back of the park you can go out into the woods through the gate. The many paths take you through the hilly landscape past sandy grounds, pine trees and dunes, but also through fields and broad-leaved forest.

From the park you can choose between 6 walking routes, including a fitness circuit right behind the park and a nature trail only short distance away. The 1,2km long training circuit starts right behind the park and will take you passed 20 different muscle strengthening exercises. The nature trail will take you to explore nature. The carved owls will lead you along this 1,35km long route through a beautiful part of the woods and you will learn much about the flora and fauna that live in Grafschaft Bentheim.

Otherwise you can choose from a number of walking routes up to 11km in length. At the reception you can buy detailed maps, that will point you in the right direction along the paths while you explore Grafschaft Bentheim.
