Hikers are at the right place at Grafschaft Bentheim. At the back of the park you can access the woods through the gate. The numerous paths take you through a hilly landscape past sandy grounds, pine trees and dunes, but also through fields and broad-leaved forests.

From the park you can choose between 6 walking routes, including a fitness circuit located right behind the park and a nature trail which is just a short distance away. The 1.2km long training circuit starts right behind the park and takes you past 20 different muscle-strengthening exercise stations. The nature trail allows you to explore nature. Carved owls direct you along this 1.35km long route which meanders through a beautiful part of the woods where you will learn much about the flora and fauna of Grafschaft Bentheim.

Otherwise you can choose from a number of walking routes up to 11km in length. At the reception you can purchase detailed maps that will keep you traveling in the right direction as you explore Grafschaft Bentheim.
