Our tip: when you are on holiday together with your dog in Germany, come to our park, your dogs are welcome here! The area offers numerous opportunities for you and your four-legged friend. Take a walk in the woods and make trips in the area. This is a dog friendly area and you can do a lot of things together.

Register your pets with us well in advance, so that we can reserve a pet-friendly cottage for you. The cottages can accommodate up to two dogs.

Egg hunt in a different garden! Did you know that the gardens around our bungalows in Germany offer a lot of hiding places? Children can be on a search for sweets for quite a while here. Then there is a delicious Easter breakfast, with fresh bread from the bakery, or oven baked bread rolls.

For Easter in Germany the coloured eggs are a real tradition, and they are to be found for sale almost everywhere in supermarkets. The painting of the eggs themselves is also a fun activity for an extra long weekend away.

Another tradition in this area are the Easter fires, there will certainly be one you will be able to enjoy in the surrounding area! Ask about it at our reception office.

Enjoy the May holiday! Spring is a great time for a wonderful holiday in Germany. Did you know that the May holidays in Uelsen is the beginning of the summer season for the outdoor pool? If the weather is nice you can enjoy the heated outdoor pool and the sunbathing area.

But there is more to do, of course, the Bronzezeithof is open, you can also visit one of the mills or bee keepers in the area. Experience spring at the Grafschaft Bentheim holiday park in Lower Saxony.

A great weekend getaway at a holiday park for Ascension Day. It is an ideal weekend to enjoy nature and hopefully the warm temperatures. You can go cycling, rent a bicycle at our park and go for a ride. Enjoy a picnic lunch on a bench or settle down on the terrace of one of the restaurants that you encounter along the way. On Pentecost you can also enjoy a weekend-break in Lower Saxony, Germany. Our holiday park is located just across the border so you do not have to drive far. Nevertheless, you will enjoy a nice getaway amidst the woods and fields.

Whit Monday is the annual German Mills’ Day and several mills in the area open their doors. You can see the windmills, water mills, but also there are guided tours complete with exhibits and demonstrations.

For enjoying a beautifully colored nature, you will be in the right place at the Grafschaft Bentheim holiday park. Yellow birch trees interspersed with green pine trees and the fresh autumn air offer the park a special touch. A visit from our holiday park to Bad Bentheim, with its beautiful castle, is also a must during the fall. There is the music night and different evening walks through the city, the Night Watch and the lanterns. A special way to explore this city.

You can also experience a lot of things in Uelsen during autumn. An evening stroll for children or the last Mill’s Days of the season with the bread making tradition are great. Experience it all from our holiday park in Germany.

A Christmas visit or simply Christmas or New Year’s entertainment. You can also go to the Grafschaft Bentheim holiday park during the holidays. In the surrounding villages and towns there are several Christmas markets, like in Nordhorn and Bad Bentheim, but also in Uelsen. Would you like to go out for dinner on Christmas? Our own restaurant Koffiehuus offers Christmas Buffet on both days. Alternatively you can book the table grill arrangement, where you can enjoy cozy family dining in the bungalow.

Do you want to enjoy a multi-family Christmas or New Year celebration with friends, but still be able to sleep and rest calmly? We can book several houses close to each other for you. Decorative fireworks may be lit on the park’s general parking area.
